Sheffield United will host a Premier League relegation six-pointer as they face West Bromwich Albion on Tuesday evening at Bramall Lane.

The Blades narrowly lost 1-0 at the Etihad Stadium to Manchester City on Saturday, with Gabriel Jesus scoring the only goal of the game.

West Brom drew 2-2 at the Hawthorns against Fulham on Saturday, with Kyle Bartley and Matheus Pereira scoring for the Baggies.

Chris Wilder remains without no fewer than five players for Tuesday's fixture with Sander Berge, Jack O'Connell, Jack Robinson, Ben Osborn and Enda Stevens are all sidelined.

David McGoldrick could start on the frontline in midweek, though Wilder has a number of strikers to select from.

Sheffield United have lost three of their last four league games against West Brom (W1), as many as they had in their previous 12 against them (W6 D3).

The Blades have never lost a Premier League home game in February, winning four and drawing two of their six games.

Oli Norwood puts his body on the line against Man City.

Only Bournemouth (eight in September) and Brighton (seven in October) have played more home games in a specific month without ever losing in the competition.

United have earned fewer home points than any other side in the Premier League this season (four – W1 D1 L8); indeed, four points is the fewest by a side after their first 10 home games of a Premier League campaign since Bolton in 2011-12 (also four).

Paul Warne could rotate his side for the visit of Derby with Clark Robertson, Ryan Giles and Freddie Ladapo all in contention for recalls.

Influential midfielder Daniel Barlaser is currently isolating for COVID-19 and will be unavailable on Tuesday night.

Rotherham United are looking to record a league double over Derby County for the first time since the 1965/66 season.

The Millers have won one of their last 22 Championship matches played on Tuesday (D7 L14).

The Rams have lost all four of their league matches against Yorkshire sides this season, losing to Huddersfield, Barnsley, Sheffield Wednesday and Rotherham.

Caretaker manager, Neil Thompson.

A team that will be keeping a close eye on that result will be Sheffield Wednesday, who face AFC Bournemouth at the Vitality Stadium, also on Tuesday night.

The Owls managed to beat Preston North End last time out, with Liam Palmer grabbing the goal in a 1-0 win.

The Cherries lost 3-1 away to Reading in their last match, with Junior Stanislas scoring a late consolation goal.

Neil Thompson could authorise two changes for this clash with Massimo Luongo and Josh Windass both in contention for recalls.

Central midfielder Liam Shaw and experienced striker Jordan Rhodes have returned to training but are doubtful for the trip to the south coast.

Bournemouth have not hosted Sheffield Wednesday for a league match since April 2015, drawing 2-2 in the Championship.

Sheffield Wednesday are looking to complete a league double over Bournemouth for the first time.

There has been at least one red card in each of the last four Championship meetings between Bournemouth and Sheffield Wednesday – two for the Cherries and three for the Owls.

Each team had a player sent off in the reverse fixture this season (a 1-0 win for the Owls) – Kadeem Harris for Wednesday and Steve Cook for Bournemouth.
