Leeds United will host West Ham United at Elland Road on Friday night in the Premier League.

The Whites lost 3-1 at Stamford Bridge last weekend, despite taking the lead four minutes into the game through Patrick Bamford.

Oliver Giroud equalised midway through the first half before second half goals from Kurt Zouma and Christian Pulisic sealed the win.

West Ham also lost 3-1 at the weekend, with Manchester United turning the game around after halftime.

Tomas Soucek gave the Hammers the lead in the first half before goals from Paul Pogba, Mason Greenwood and Marcus Rashford sealed the points for the Red Devils.

This will be the first league meeting between Leeds and West Ham since the 2011-12 Championship campaign, when both games ended in draws with the away side equalising in the 90th minute both times.

The Hammers are winless in their last nine meetings with Leeds in all competitions (D4 L5) since a 1-0 win at Elland Road in November 2000 courtesy of a Nigel Winterburn goal.

Leeds have never lost a top-flight home game played on a Friday (W3 D6), drawing both such games in the Premier League (1-1 v Newcastle in April 1994, 0-0 with Aston Villa in December 2003).

Koroma and Mbenza celebrate.

In the Championship, Huddersfield Town will be hoping to build off a superb derby victory at the weekend when they face AFC Bournemouth at the Vitality Stadium on Saturday.

Last time out, the Terriers beat Yorkshire rivals, Sheffield Wednesday, 2-0 with goals from Josh Koroma and Isaac Mbenza.

Hosts, Bournemouth, earned a respectable 0-0 draw with Swansea City on Tuesday night.

There have been over 2.5 goals scored in five of Huddersfield's last six away games in the Championship, whilst Bournemouth are undefeated in their last seven home matches against Huddersfield in all competitions.

Scott Sinclair scores past Marcus Bettinelli.

Elsewhere in the Championship, Middlesbrough will host Millwall on Saturday at the Riverside Stadium.

Boro lost 3-0 at Deepdale on Wednesday night, conceding all three goals in the second half with Brad Potts, Scott Sinclair, and Emil Riis Jakobsen on the scoresheet.

Visitors, Millwall, earned a midweek draw at home to Queens Park Rangers, with Jon Dadi Bodvarsson cancelling out Ilias Chair’s goal.

Millwall have failed to win their last nine Championship matches, whilst Middlesbrough are undefeated in their last five matches against Millwall in all competitions.

The Hull players celebrate together.

In League One, Hull City will take on Shrewsbury Town at the KCOM Stadium on Saturday.

Last time out, the Tigers snuck through to the next round of the Papa John’s Trophy in midweek, beating Crewe Alexandra 3-2 on penalties after drawing 0-0.

Shrewsbury Town were well beaten in their Papa John’s Trophy tie, losing 4-1 to Lincoln City.

Hull have kept a clean sheet in their last four home matches against Shrewsbury in all competitions and have won their last three home matches against the Shrews.

Wetherby Road, Harrogate.

In League Two, Harrogate Town and Bradford City travel to the North West of England to face Morecambe and Oldham Athletic, respectively.

Both the Sulphurites and the Bantams lost 1-0 last weekend, with Jamille Matt scoring for Forest Green Rovers against Harrogate and Rhys Bennett for Carlisle United against Bradford.

Valley Parade, Bradford.

Morecambe lost 2-1 to Newport County last weekend whilst Oldham Athletic lost 2-1 in the Papa John’s Trophy in midweek to Sunderland.

Both Harrogate and Bradford will be hoping to pull away from the relegation zone.
