Middlesbrough will come up against some recognisable faces on Tuesday night at Ewood Park in the Championship.

Boro legend, Stewart Downing, re-signed for Blackburn Rovers at the start of the week and is inline to make an appearance against his boyhood club.

Alongside Downing, former Boro academy product Aynsley Pears is set to make his first appearance against the Teessiders, whilst former Boro boss, Tony Mowbray, will be in the opposite dugout.

At the weekend, Marvin Johnson grabbed a late winner for Boro at the Riverside Stadium against Nottingham Forest, whilst Rovers were beaten 2-0 away at Swansea City.

Neil Warnock’s men will be looking for another win to keep their unbeaten run going and push for the top two.

Terriers seal victory at the Den.

Huddersfield Town will be looking to build on a fantastic 3-0 away win on Tuesday night in the Championship when they host Bristol City.

Goals from Josh Koroma, Pipa and Lewis O’Brien put Millwall to the sword on Saturday and they will be hoping to do the same to the Robins.

Visitors, Bristol City, will be hoping to for a reaction after their disappointing 3-1 defeat to Norwich City last time out.

Jack Hunt grabbed a goal back for the Robins after a Teemu Pukki’s early double, before Emi Buendia sealed the points in added time in the first half.

The Terriers are just one point behind the Robins in the table and a win could see them rise into the playoffs if results go their way.

Bradford will be hoping to end their winless run against Southend.

In League Two, Bradford City will host Southend United in a must-win fixture for the Bantams on Tuesday night.

Bradford lost 1-0 against Barrow at the weekend and now have lost and not scored in their last three games.

Visitors, Southend, still have not won this season in the league and sit rock bottom of the table following a 2-0 home defeat to Port Vale.

The Bantams need a win to stop the rot and surely will not get a better chance than playing the bottom side at home.

Josh Falkingham will be missing after picking up two yellow cards against Barrow.

Finally, in League Two, Harrogate Town take on manager-less Tranmere Rovers at the Wetherby Road on Tuesday night.

Harrogate put on a brave showing away at league leaders Newport County, losing 2-1 despite having ten men for most of the game.

Tranmere Rovers lost 1-0 in a close encounter to Morecambe on Saturday with Adam Phillips converting from the penalty spot.

This proved to be the final straw for boss Mike Jackson who was sacked after the game with his side sat in 18th.

With a win, Harrogate could climb into the playoffs, but defeat will most likely see them drop into the bottom half of the table.
