Middlesbrough will be hoping to return to winning ways on Wednesday night when they take on Swansea City at the Riverside Stadium in the Championship.
Boro lost 3-2 to Huddersfield Town on Saturday, despite goals from Marvin Johnson and Britt Assombalonga.
Swansea won 1-0 at the City Ground on Sunday, with a goal scored by one-time Middlesbrough loanee Connor Roberts.
Middlesbrough have lost six of their last nine matches against Swansea in all competitions (W1 D2).
However, Neil Warnock has won six of his nine home Football League matches against Swansea City (D2 L1), winning with Scarborough, Notts County, Huddersfield, Crystal Palace and QPR.
Saturday’s Yorkshire derby victors, Huddersfield Town, face off against Cardiff City on Tuesday night.
As mentioned, the Terriers beat Middlesbrough 3-2, with goals from Carel Eiting, Fraizer Campbell and Josh Koroma.
Opponents, Cardiff City, hammered Luton Town at the weekend, winning 4-0 with goals from Sean Morrison, Mark Harris, Kieffer Moore and Sheyi Ojo.
Huddersfield have lost seven of their last eight away games against Cardiff (D1), including a 2-1 defeat last season.
Cardiff’s current run of 12 league matches unbeaten against Huddersfield is bettered only by their runs against Halifax Town (16 games between 1975 and 2001) and Leeds United (16 games between 1984 and 2015) in the Football League.
In League Two, Harrogate Town and Bradford City both play on Tuesday night, at home to Scunthorpe United and Cheltenham Town, respectively.
Harrogate and Bradford were both knocked out of the FA Cup at the weekend, with the Sulphurites losing to Blackpool 4-0, whilst the Bantams lost 2-1 to Oldham Athletic.
Scunthorpe and Cheltenham had contrasting fortunes at the weekend, with the former losing 1-0 at home to Bolton Wanderers, and the latter winning 2-1 at home to Crewe Alexandra in the FA Cup.
Harrogate have only won one of their six home league games this season (D3 L2), scoring just once in their last three at Wetherby Road.
This will be the first ever competitive meeting between Harrogate Town and Scunthorpe United.
As for Bradford City, they have only lost one of their six home games versus Cheltenham Town in the Football League (W2 D3), a 0-1 reverse in November 2011.
