Bradford City will do battle against Barrow at Valley Parade in a must-win match in League Two.

Last time out the Bantams beat Southend United 1-3 in an important relegation six-pointer with goals from Gareth Evans (twice) and Danny Rowe.

Barrow also won their last fixture, beating ten-man Scunthorpe United 1-0 at home with a goal from Josh Kay.

The Bantam players celebrate together.

The Bantams have only lost one of their last seven home league encounters with Barrow (W3 D3), although this is the first such clash since April 1970 (3-3).

The Bluebirds are looking to complete a league double over Bradford City for the first time since 1964-65.

Bradford are looking to keep three consecutive home league clean sheets for the first time since August 2019.

In the early kick off in the Championship, Middlesbrough will travel to top of the table Norwich City.

Middlesbrough were humiliated last time out, losing 0-3 to Rotherham United on Wednesday night, whilst Norwich’s last game was their 1-0 defeat in the FA Cup to Barnsley.

The Canaries have won their last six Championship matches against Boro, winning the 2015 play-off final and five regular league games since then.

The last four league meetings between Norwich and Middlesbrough at Carrow Road have ended 1-0 (three Norwich wins, one Middlesbrough win).

Neil Warnock’s four away league wins against Norwich have all been with different teams – Notts County (1991/92), Sheffield United (2002/03), Crystal Palace (2008/09) and Cardiff City (2017/18).

Middlesbrough forward Duncan Watmore has found the net in both of his previous league appearances against Norwich, scoring home and away for Sunderland in the 2015/16 Premier League season.

It just was not Hull City's night on Tuesday.

In League One, Hull City face strugglers Swindon Town at the KCOM Stadium as they look to reclaim top spot.

The Tigers were beaten by two goals to nil at the Wham Stadium on Tuesday night against Accrington Stanley, whilst the Robins lost 0-2 at home to Plymouth Argyle.

Hull City are winless in their last seven English third tier matches against Swindon Town (D2 L5).

The Tigers last won a third-tier English football game against the Robins way back in March 1980 (1-0).

Following a run of three defeats in five at home in the league, Hull are unbeaten in their last three on home soil in League One, winning two of those (D1).

Harrogate Town face a tough test in League Two when they welcome Newport County to Wetherby Road on Saturday.

Harrogate and Newport had similar games last time out with both sides losing 3-2 away from home and having a man sent off in the process.

Joshua McPake and Josh March scored the goals for the Sulphurites against Tranmere Rovers whilst Connor Hall received a red card.

Josh Labadie will be missing for County after he was sent off against Oldham Athletic whilst Daniel Scrimshaw and Luke Gambin scored the goals last weekend.

This will be Harrogate Town’s first ever home league game against a Welsh team in the top four tiers of English football.

Newport won their first ever competitive clash with Harrogate back in October.

The Sulphurites have scored just seven goals in their first 10 home Football League matches, the fewest since New Brighton scored just seven themselves in 1923, while their one win in their first 10 home games in the Football League is the fewest since Coventry won none of their first 10 in 1919.

Huddersfield Town will host Stoke City in a midtable clash in the Championship on Saturday.

Despite a positive performance, Bristol City took all of the points last time out as they beat Huddersfield Town 2-1, with Juninho Bacuna scoring for the Terriers.

Stoke City lost 1-2 to Watford in their last game, with Steven Fletcher scoring a late consolation goal.

The last two league meetings between Huddersfield and Stoke have seen 14 goals scored, with the Potters winning both games (5-2 in January 2020, 4-3 in November 2020).

The Potters will be hoping to record consecutive away league wins against Huddersfield for the first time since December 1959.

Huddersfield have not lost four consecutive home matches in all competitions since a run in August/September 2019 that saw three different managers take charge of at least one defeat (Siewert, Hudson, Cowley).

Jack Harrison slams the ball into the net at St. James' Park.

Finally, on Sunday, Leeds United will go searching for back-to-back wins when they face Leicester City at the King Power Stadium in the Premier League.

The Whites overcame Newcastle United in midweek, winning 1-2 with goals from Raphinha and Jack Harrison.

Leicester City were held at Goodison Park, as they drew 1-1 against Everton with Youri Tielemans scoring for the Foxes.

Leeds United’s only previous Premier League match at the King Power Stadium was back in September 2003, losing 4-0 under Peter Reid.

Their only away league win against Leicester at the King Power was in November 2011 in the Championship, a 1-0 win.

Leeds are the only side yet to have had an away draw in the Premier League this season, with the Whites winning five and losing five of their 10 games on the road.

Indeed, none of their last 16 Premier League away games have ended level (W6 L10) since a 1-1 draw with Manchester United in February 2004.
