Leeds United will cap off a big weekend for football clubs based in North Yorkshire, the East Riding of Yorkshire, and West Yorkshire.

The Whites will welcome Leicester City and the Sky Sports cameras to Elland Road on Monday night.

Both sides have had great starts to the season with Leeds sitting in 6th place and the Foxes in 4th.

It will have been ten days since Leeds last took to the field, but they will be hoping a for similar outcome as to what happened last time out at Villa Park.

Superb counter-attacking play and relentless pressing football alongside a Patrick Bamford hat-trick halted the home sides winning run.

Visitors, Leicester, managed a magnificent victory of their own last weekend after they edged past Arsenal thanks to a late Jamie Vardy header.

The Foxes squad will be put to the test this week after a trip to Greece on Thursday evening for their Europa League group stage tie with AEK Athens.

If the Whites do manage to grab the win on Monday, they will leapfrog the Foxes in the table and if results go their way, could end up being on top of the Premier League.

Djed Spence scores Middlesbrough's second.

Middlesbrough will host Nottingham Forest in the Championship on Saturday at the Riverside Stadium.

On Tuesday, Boro managed to see off Coventry City with two late goals scored by Britt Assombalonga and Djed Spence.

The Teessiders are still unbeaten at home in the league this season and have not lost since the opening fixture.

As for the visitors, they will be without defender Nicholas Ioannou after he was sent off in their midweek draw away to Luton Town.

The result meant that new Forest boss, Chris Hughton, extended his unbeaten run to four games since taking over.

Boro boss Neil Warnock will be hoping his side can extend their unbeaten run to eight league games and move into the playoff places.

Huddersfield’s opponents, Millwall, picked up three points in midweek with a 2-0 away win against Preston North End.

That win moved the Lions up to fourth in the Championship whilst the Terriers currently languish in 16th.

A win for Huddersfield could be enough to them rise into the top half of the table, whilst their opponents will be hoping to end the day inside the top two.

Tom Eaves gets Hull's third.

Hull City will be looking for back-to-back away wins as they head to Swindon Town on Saturday in League One.

The Tigers had to comeback from a goal down against Bristol Rovers on Tuesday night to win 3-1.

All three substitutes grabbed a goal, with the first from Keane Lewis-Potter coming three minutes after his arrival onto the pitch.

Summer signing Regan Slater put the Tigers ahead before Tom Eaves put the icing on the cake deep into stoppage time.

After having their last two games postponed, Hull’s host, Swindon Town will be looking for their first win since September.

The Robins were defeated in their last fixture 11 days ago, against Northampton Town, 2-1 and currently occupy a relegation spot.

At the other end of the table, Hull will be hoping for a positive result at the County Ground to potentially leapfrog promotion rivals Lincoln City at the top of league.
