Leeds United will host Crystal Palace at Elland Road on Monday night as both teams aim to push towards the top half of the table.

The Whites lost 1-2 at home to Everton in midweek, with Raphinha scoring Leeds’ only goal of the game.

In their last game, Palace came from behind to win 1-2 away to Newcastle United in midweek, with Jairo Riedewald and Gary Cahill on the scoresheet.

Patrick Bamford and Raphinha shook off knocks to start in their 2-1 defeat to Everton in midweek.

Both actually combined for their only goal of the game.

Rodrigo and Ivan Poveda have been ruled out against Palace.

Leeds are set to host Crystal Palace at Elland Road for a Premier League match for the first time since the 1997/98 season, losing 0-2 under George Graham.

A tough result to take in midweek for Leeds.

The home team has won eight of the last 10 matches between Leeds and Crystal Palace in all competitions, with the other two ending as draws.

The last away victory in this fixture was a 1-0 Palace win at Elland Road in March 2006 via a Jobi McAnuff winner.

Leeds have lost both of their Premier League games on Monday this season, with both coming at home (1-4 v Leicester, 0-1 v Wolves).

Meanwhile, Crystal Palace are winless in their last eight Monday league games (D2 L6) since beating Arsenal 3-0 in April 2017.

Callum Elder battles in the pooring rain against Lincoln.

In League One, top of the table Hull City will take on bottom of the table Burton Albion at the Pirelli Stadium on Saturday.

The Tigers were knocked out of the Papa John’s Trophy in midweek, drawing 1-1 before losing on penalties to Lincoln City, whilst Burton lost 0-1 at home to Ipswich Town in their last fixture, three weeks ago.

Callum Jones and Martin Samuelson both remain doubtful for the league leaders ahead of their trip to Burton.

This will be the fourth meeting Burton Albion and Hull City in the English League.

The Brewers have lost all the previous meetings against the Tigers in the league.

During their previous visit to the Pirelli Stadium in 2018, Hull beat Burton Albion 5-0, their best win against the Brewers in the league.

After a run of just one win in seven league games (D3 L3), Hull have won three of their last four in League One (L1).

George Saville argues with the referee against Norwich.

In the Championship, Middlesbrough will host Brentford at the Riverside Stadium with both sides hoping to be in the promotion mix come the end of the season.

Middlesbrough drew 0-0 to Norwich City last time out whilst Brentford beat Bristol City by three goals to two in midweek with Sergi Canos, Ivan Toney and Saman Ghoddos scoring for the Bees.

Neil Warnock could shift Yannick Bolasie out onto the left here with Chuba Akpom returning up top.

A debut is on the cards for Fulham loanee Neeskens Kebano, who impressed towards the end of last season.

Darnell Fisher should keep his place at right-back ahead of Djed Spence.

Middlesbrough have lost four of their last five matches against Brentford (D1) in all competitions, having won 10 of their previous 12 against the Bees (D2).

Boro have failed to score in their last three league games, last going four without a goal in November 2019 under Jonathan Woodgate.

Warnock is unbeaten in his last five home league matches against Brentford (excluding play-offs) since losing 4-1 in December 1996 with Plymouth Argyle.

Frazier Campbell goes down against Stoke.

Elsewhere in the Championship, Huddersfield Town will travel to Kenilworth Road to face Luton Town on Saturday.

Last time out the Terriers drew 1-1 at home to Stoke City with Pipa on the scoresheet, whilst the Hatters lost 1-0 away at Blackburn Rovers.

Carlos Corberan could make one change to the side that faced Stoke last weekend with Duane Holmes replacing Rolando Aarons on the left.

Richard Keogh and Naby Sarr are the club's only fit senior centre-back so expect an unchanged defence here.

Huddersfield Town’s last away league win against Luton was back in May 2008 in League One, winning 1-0 with a goal from Phil Jevons.

The Terriers have picked up just one point in five Championship matches in 2021, drawing 1-1 with Stoke last time out and losing their other four games.

Mark Trueman before last weeks game.

In League Two, Bradford City will travel to St. James Park to face Exeter City on Saturday.

Danny Rowe and Callum Cooke scored the goals in a 2-1 win for the Bantams last time out against Barrow, whilst Exeter beat Stevenage 0-1 thanks to a goal from former Bantam Rory McArdle.

Mark Trueman has been backed to strengthen the squad further by the board, who have sanctioned transfer fees for Burton forward Charles Vernam and Wigan winger Ollie Crankshaw.

Billy Clarke came off with a slight injury against Barrow, so Jordan Stevens could get the nod on the right of the attack.

Winger Zeli Ismail is out for three months.

Bradford have won only two of their last six league games against Exeter City (D1 L3), with the draw coming in their most recent encounter earlier this season in November (2-2).

The Bantams are unbeaten in their last eight League Two matches (W5 D3), last enjoying a longer unbeaten league run back in October 2016 (15).

Will Smith in action against Newport.

Finally, Harrogate Town will face Crawley Town at the People’s Pension Stadium on Saturday in League Two.

Last time out, the Sulphurites beat Newport County 2-1 with Josh March and Aaron Martin scoring for Harrogate, whilst the Red Devils drew 0-0 with ten-man Leyton Orient.

Will Smith returned from three months on the sidelines to start last time out - the centre-back's presence certainly aids Harrogate's pursuit of happiness this term.

Simon Weaver could name an XI unchanged from the one that came from behind to beat Newport.

Wide men Simon Power and Josh McPake have really lifted the Sulphurites since coming into the side in January.

This will be only the second instance when Crawley Town play Harrogate Town in League Two, with the previous instance ending in a 1-1 stalemate.

Crawley Town are unbeaten in their last six home games against teams from Yorkshire and the Humber (W3 D3), finding the back of the net in all their wins.

Harrogate are winless in their last three league games away from home (D1 L2) and have only managed one clean sheet in their last 11 on the road.
