Middlesbrough were the only side in North, East or West Yorkshire to win at the weekend, beating Millwall 3-0 at the Riverside Stadium in the Championship.

Marcus Tavernier doubled the lead two minutes later, whipping the ball into the far corner from just inside the right corner of the 18-yard-box.

In League One, Hull City were stunned by strugglers Shrewsbury Town at the KCOM Stadium, as they fell to a 1-0 defeat.
The games only goal was scored by Charlie Daniels, whose gut bursting run allowed him to become one-on-one with ‘keeper, Matt Ingram, before dinking the ball into the back of the net.
The visitors managed to hang on, with the hosts struggling to create anything clear-cut in front of goal, with the best chance fall to George Honeyman, who volleyed over from six yards out.
The Tigers still sit at the top of League One but only by two points.
In League Two, Harrogate Town and Bradford City were both defeated, with the former losing 1-0 to Morecambe and the latter losing 3-1 to Oldham Athletic.
Aaron Wildig was ready and waiting at the back post to head in from close range to give the Shrimps the three points ten minutes into the second half.
Morecambe nearly doubled their lead soon after, but James Belshaw managed to get down low to make a brilliant save from Cole Stockton.
