Barnsley will be looking to bounce back this weekend against Championship strugglers, Derby County.

The Tykes were hammered 3-0 at the Cardiff City Stadium inflicting their first defeat under new manager, Valerian Ismael.

Hosts, Derby County, have had a torrid start to the season, winning only one of their first ten games.

The Rams lost 1-0 at home to QPR on Wednesday night thanks to a last-minute winner from Macauley Bonne.

The last time Barnsley won at Pride Park in the league, was back in 2009, winning 3-2 with goals from Adam Hammill, Andy Gray and Anderson Silva.

Barnsley will be hoping for a win to get back to winning ways and move well clear of the relegation zone.

Kadeem Harris will not be available for the Owls this weekend after his red card.

Sheffield Wednesday will be looking to build on a fantastic week for the Owls as they face Millwall at Hillsborough in the Championship.

The Owls were victorious for the first time at home in the league this season on Tuesday night against AFC Bournemouth.

Then the following day, Wednesday received the news that they had their 12-point deduction reduced to six points, moving them onto five points.

Barry Bannan scored from the spot after Steve Cook hauled down Josh Windass in the box whilst Kadeem Harris will serve a three-match ban after his red card appeal was turned down.

Visitors Millwall, who sit in eighth, could go into the playoffs with a win after they drew away at Norwich City in midweek.

Both Wednesday and Millwall will not be hoping for a repeat of this fixture last season which ended in a goalless draw.

Paul Warne will be hoping his Rotherham United side can take three points this weekend.

Also, in the Championship, Rotherham United will host midweek giantkillers Preston North End.

Preston travelled to Reading on Wednesday night and upset the odds by hammering the Royals 3-0 with second half goals from Scott Sinclair, Emil Riis Jakobsen and Brad Potts.

However, the Millers fell to a disappointing home defeat to Luton Town with James Collins smashing in a volley.

When the sides last met, on New Year's Day 2019, the Millers came out on top against the Lilywhites with goals from Will Vaulks and Michael Smith before Lukas Nmecha scored a consolation goal.

Rotherham will be hoping they prevent defeat so they can avoid dropping into the relegation zone.

The Blades gave it their all last time out.

In the Premier League, Sheffield United face big spenders Chelsea at Stamford Bridge on Saturday live on Sky Sports.

The Blades could not hold off Manchester City at Bramall Lane last Saturday, losing 1-0 to a long-range strike from former defender, Kyle Walker.

Chelsea cruised past Burnley at Turf Moor last weekend with goals from Hakim Ziyech, Kurt Zouma and Timo Werner.

The Blades battled the Blues in this fixture last season, coming back from two goals down, to draw 2-2.

United are still searching for their first win of the season and will be hoping to pull off a shock against Frank Lampard’s men.

Rovers fans during their FA Cup run two seasons ago.

League One, Doncaster Rovers, travel to FC United of Manchester in the FA Cup on Saturday in front of the BBC cameras.

Rovers came back twice in midweek against AFC Wimbledon to draw 2-2 thanks to goals from Matthew Smith and James Coppinger.

FC United of Manchester finished second in the Northern Premier League Premier Division (four leagues below League One) last season before it was halted.

This season, FC United sit in midtable but do have at least a game in hand on most teams in the division.

The Reds started their FA Cup campaign in the first qualifying round, beating Pontefract Collieries 6-2, then Curzon Ashton 2-1 in the next round.

FC United were allowed to pass through to the fourth qualifying round after Alfreton Town had to call off their fixture due to receiving a number of positive Covid-19 cases.

Guiseley were then beaten 2-1 by the Reds and now Rovers stand in their way of progressing through to the second round.

Doncaster will be looking to go further than they managed last year, losing 3-0 to Gillingham in the second round
