Sheffield United and West Bromwich Albion are the only sides left in the Premier League to have not won a game this season, ahead of their match at the Hawthorns on Saturday night.

Last time out, the Blades lost 1-0 at home to West Ham United after Sebastien Haller smashed in the only goal of the game.

The hosts also lost 1-0 last weekend, with just a Bruno Fernandes penalty separating the Baggies and Manchester United.

This will be the first ever Premier League meeting between West Brom and Sheffield United, the 885th different fixture to be played in the competition.

If this game between West Brom and Sheffield United finishes level, it will be just the third season in Premier League history that two sides have failed to win any of their opening 10 games, after 2012-13 (Reading and QPR) and 2018-19 (Newcastle and Huddersfield).

In the Championship, Rotherham United host highflying Bournemouth at the AESSAEL New York Stadium on Saturday.

The Millers lost 3-2 away against QPR on Tuesday night, with Illias Chair, Bright Osayi-Samuel, and Lydon Dykes on the scoresheet for the hosts.

Michael Smith and Freddie Ladapo did grab a goal each for Paul Warne’s men, but it was not enough to earn a point at the Kiyan Prince Foundation Stadium.

Junior Stanislas scored twice for Bournemouth in midweek as they beat Nottingham Forest 2-0 at the Vitality Stadium.

Bournemouth have lost five of their last six away league matches in Yorkshire, winning the other 2-0 at Huddersfield in March 2019 whilst Rotherham are looking to win back to back home Championship matches for the first time since September 2018.

Barnsley will travel to Lancashire on Saturday to face Blackburn Rovers at Ewood Park in the Championship.

Ivan Toney was the difference between the Tykes and the Bees on Tuesday night, with the hosts losing by a goal to nil.

Blackburn won their Lancashire Derby in midweek, beating Preston North End 3-0 at Deepdale with goals from Adam Armstrong (penalty), Ben Brereton, and Tyrhys Dolan.

Barnsley have found the net in each of their last four away league games against Blackburn but have ended up losing on three occasions (W1 L3).

An incredible, late goalmouth scramble at the Liberty Stadium.

Also, in the Championship, Sheffield Wednesday will be hoping to pick up their first win under new manager, Tony Pulis, when they host Stoke City on Saturday at Hillsborough.

Wednesday drew 1-1 with Swansea City in midweek, with Adam Reach opening the scoring from a corner, before Andre Ayew equalised in the second half.

The Potters lost 3-2 to Norwich City in their last fixture, only scoring past the Canaries once Emi Buendia was sent off.

Stoke were already three goals down before Tyrese Campbell and Nathan Collins pulled two goals back for the hosts.

Pulis has lost just one of his 16 matches vs Stoke in his managerial career (W8 D7), going unbeaten in each of the last 15 - with nine of those games coming since he last left the Potters in 2013.

The Owls have not scored more than one goal in any of their last 19 home league games (ten goals in total).

They are looking to avoid becoming only the fifth team since the creation of the Football League in 1888 to go 20+ home league games without scoring more than once and first since Huddersfield in September 2019 (29 in a row).

Doncaster Rovers head north as part of their FA Cup campaign to face Carlisle United on Sunday.

In their last FA Cup fixture, Rovers cruised past FC United of Manchester, winning 5-1 with goals from Fejiri Okenabirhie, Ben Whiteman, Josh Sims (twice) and James Coppinger.

Carlisle were fortunate to get through to the second round of the FA Cup, needing penalties to beat non-league Hayes and Yeading United.

After a goalless 90 minutes, the hosts went two nil up, with the visitors needing a late double by Jon Mellish to level the game to take it to penalties, where Carlisle came out 4-3 victors.

In all competitions, Doncaster have lost three of their last four away games against Carlisle (W1), with this their first visit since a 1-2 loss in February 2017.

However, Doncaster have only lost one of their last seven away games in the FA Cup (W4 D2), losing 0-3 at Gillingham in the second round last season.
