The visitors did goal two goals up inside the first half, with Bradley Halliday appearing to bundle over former Owls and Blades striker Gary Madine in the box ten minutes in.
Jerry Yates tucked away the spot kick before Sullay Kaikai raced away from the Rovers defence and slid in CJ Hamilton who rifled the ball into the roof of the net with seven minutes of the first half left to play.
I did not take much of the second half for Rovers to get back level, with Cameron John firing the ball low into the net before Reece James brilliantly flicked the ball over the Blackpool stopper just seven minutes into the second half.
The turnaround was complete with 15 minutes remaining in the game, when Matt Smith was fouled inside the visitor’s box, giving captain Ben Whiteman the chance to convert from 12 yards.
Whiteman made no mistake, moving Doncaster up to tenth in the league table.

Wednesday had the better of the Swans in the first half, taking the lead through a well taken Adam Reach strike from a low Barry Bannan corner.
A change in system for the host got them back into the game in the second half, with half time substitute, Andre Ayew, curling in the equaliser on the hour mark.
The Owls nearly did not come away with a point after an incredible goal mouth scramble in the 94th minute inside their own penalty area, which ended with the ball finding the back of the net, however the referee gave Wednesday a free kick.
The result keeps Sheffield Wednesday in 23rd place in the league.

The Millers did equalise after Michael Smith headed in a superb cross from Wes Harding, however, Rangers did retake the lead and add to it in first half stoppage time, firstly through Bright Osayi-Samuel’s sublime run and shot, and secondly through a Lydon Dykes penalty.

Predatory striker, Ivan Toney, headed in the only goal of the game from a corner midway through the second half.
In truth, the visitors dominated proceedings, with Barnsley’s best effort coming from a long-range strike by Alex Mowatt, that nearly caught out ‘keeper David Raya.
The Tykes will feel that they should have had a penalty in the second half, after the ball did appear to strike the arm of Vitaly Janelt in the box, however this was waved away by the referee.
The result means that Barnsley drop to 14th in the league.
